³H-thymidine injection on E15, 2 hr survival

Figure 32 is a coronal slice of an E15 embryo 2 hrs after its mother was injected with ³H‑thymidine.  The left part of the slice is anterior to the lumen of the lateral ventricle and through the dense accumulation of cells in the olfactory NEP; on the right, the slice is through the differentiating neurons outside the NEP—many are probably AOB output neurons.  A thick bundle of the olfactory/vomeronasal nerve surrounds the forebrain.
